Rana Tamim is a PhD candidate in the Educational Technology Program. She has a science background and her teaching interests and expertise include research design and introductory statistics, science teaching methods, e-learning and technology integration. She is involved in a variety of research projects that address the impact and role played by computer technology in facilitating learning, particularly in science education. She is also working on systematic reviews aiming at knowledge synthesis, dissemination, and mobilization for the purpose of improving practice in educational contexts. Moreover, she is interested in the impact of instructional design of pre-service and in-service training on teachers’ attitudes toward science.
