Who
Should Apply?
This programme is designed for students wishing to teach in elementary and secondary schools.
The programme is four years in length (120 credits). Full-time students normally take 30 credits
each year, that is, a maximum of 15 credits in each of the Fall and Winter terms.
Program
Structure
The programme requires 90 credits for the Specialization programme plus 30 elective credits. The
90 credits involve a stimulating and well-balanced group of selections from three areas: theory
courses, method courses, and internships. The internships are undertaken in elementary,
secondary and adult level classes. The programme has a strong emphasis on language learner
development. We believe that it is important to know how learners grow and develop in order to
better meet their needs. To facilitate this, the internships progress from adult to elementary and
secondary placements. For further information please consult the University Calendar. |
