Erin Sulla (MA in Child Study) won first prize for her poster at the annual conference of the Centre for Research in Human Development on February 4, 2011. The poster was titled Measuring Children's Attitudes toward Disability after One Year in a Reverse Integrated Setting. Erin is supervised by Dr. Miranda D'Amico. The prize was a gift certificate for Chapters ($125). Congratulations to Erin!
Professor Ellen Jacobs was presented with the "Friend of Children Award" by the Canadian Association for Young Children for her long-term service and committment to early childhood education. The award was presented by Fiona Rowlands, head teacher in the Department of Education Observation Nursery, and the children who attend the Nursery program.
