Established in 1988 and
based at Concordia University, the Centre
for the Study of Learning and Performance
(CSLP) is a research centre consisting
of over 50 principal members, research
collaborators and/or associates, 16 support
staff, and over 40 graduate students.
Researchers are from Concordia (Education,
Psychology, Applied Linguistics), McGill,
Université de Montréal,
UQAM, Bishop’s, Louisiana State,
Johns Hopkins, and McMaster universities,
and at CEGEP Montmorency and Vanier and
Dawson Colleges. CSLP partnerships span
the Ministry of Education (Anglophone
Services and the provincial QESN-RECITs),
the majority of English language school
boards, and some French language school
boards. The CSLP is also actively involved
in several Québec-based research
networks and bodies such as the Développement,
intégration et évaluation
des technologies de formation et d'apprentissage
(DIVA group), and the Centre de transfert
pour la réussite éducative
du Québec (CTREQ). |
