Pavel Trofimovich is and Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics who joined the TESL Centre in the Department of Education in 2003. His research interests include psycholinguistic aspects of second-language/bilingual processing and learning. He conducts research on the acquisition of second-language phonology, speech perception/production, phonological processing, and the role of attention, memory, and automaticity in second-language processing and learning. His interests also include the use of technology in second-language teaching and the development of materials for classroom teaching of second-language pronunciation.
