We are excited to announce Dr. Patti Shank, author of the Deep Learning series of books. Patti Shank is the “deeper learning” series of books–Manage Memory for Deeper Learning, Write and Organize for Deeper Learning, Practice and Feedback for Deeper Learning–each of which shares specific research-based tactics that can be applied in everyday learning projects. She is also the co-editor of The E-Learning Handbook with Concordia professor, Saul Carliner, Shank is a lifelong workplace learning practitioner and leader who understands the pragmatics of instruction in workplace settings. Her business background helps her connect business outcomes and learning and performance solutions. She holds a PhD in Instructional Technology from the University of Colorado at Denver and an Master’s in Instructional Technology from George Washington University.
